Our recent client in Park Ridge liked a white kitchen, just not the one they had. One request was to have a less claustrophobic feel and the other was low maintenance.
As seen in the photos below, I think we did a nice job delivering on both requests. The wall was removed between the dining room and we used quartz counters in place of natural stone.
This project was first retained in March with the overall design and materials being finalized in April.
Due to the exactness of project details, pricing and no loose ends, the process takes a little time from point of being retained. From demolition to completion, it took us about 6 weeks to complete. All of the materials we used were custom ordered and our projects don’t start until said materials are in our hands.
The counters used were Cambria Swanbridge Quartz. Hard surface counters are all laser template and installed approximately 2 weeks after the measure. The cabinetry was a full access construction cabinet painted white by Holiday Kitchens located in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. We prefer to use local manufacturers for the service aspect as well as helping the environment with reduced shipping.
We also replaced old floor with custom finished wood floors to match the wood adjacent to it. New backsplash tile was a handcrafted looking subway tile by Sonoma tile and the under cabinet lighting makes for a nice effect during the evening and early morning hours. All in all, the client is very pleased with the results and already talking about the master bath project to follow. Mission Accomplished.
