General Contracting

Kitchen & Bath Mart has been helping the Chicagoland area with its general contracting needs for over 60 years.. Commonly known as “bid to build”, the owner presents construction documents assembled by their designers/architects for most any interior project for pricing. Kitchen & Bath Mart in turn submits a lump sum bid to complete construction of the project. Within all our construction services, all products must be provided by through KBM in order to facilitate replacements of defective or warranted materials.

Construction Management

With this service, Kitchen & Bath Mart serves as the owner’s representative as well as the general contractor on the project. We will collaborate closely with the owner to determine exactly what the owner is desirous of in their project and then make decisions as the project progresses based on knowledge gained from the collaboration. This allows the owner to maintain more of a “hands off” approach to the construction and still achieve a quality result that meets all their needs.

Design & Build

This service is for the homeowner that has a concept for a finished project but wants someone else to “make it happen”. Kitchen & Bath Mart will provide experienced design staff to work with the homeowner and develop a project that meets your needs. We will then take charge to manage and build the project. All design, engineering, and construction services can be covered in a single contract with the owner.

Full Service General Construction — Interior Renovations

We perform complete interior renovations from design through construction. During this process we ensure that work is performed according to architectural drawings and specifications, within safety regulations, and in line with contract terms, schedule & budget. Our daily operations include, but are not limited to, supervising labor, ordering and receiving materials, and constant interaction with the client and parties involved.
